We had yet another small but fun Christmas party at a restaurant in downtown Calgary this weekend.
Prior to the dance, they provided a gift to all employees. They used a fun twist on the gift stealing game.
A poem was read aloud when each number was drawn. It indicated how to choose a gift and the rules on who that gift can be traded with.
Here’s an example:
“Well, now, what do you know.”
“It’s finally 13’s turn to go.”
“There you go. You’re doing fine.”
“You may swap with 3, 6 or 9.”
When the dance started everyone was laughing and ready to celebrate another successful year – rather than sitting and ‘talking shop’.
